Europe Budget

Europe on a Shoestring

Well, shoestrings of a fussy couple.

For him, he does not want a dorm room with more than 6 people.

For her, she wants dorms smack in the middle of town, and with at least pictorial proof that they are of passable living standards. And it doesn't help either that dorm names that appeal to her like Saint Exupery Villa, Leonardo Da Vinci and Three Little Pigs Hostel gets picked regardless of what other offers are available!

We'll be staying in private rooms at Paris (a quaint little bed and breakfast called Olympiades) and Casa Linger in Venice which is right beside one of the canals.

Flights plus accomodation and insurance gives totals up to SGD$2,000. I'm told that's quite reasonable. There's still Eurorail and entry tickets for the museums and Disneyworld (*grin). I'm hoping everything falls under the set budget SGD$3,500 with lots of spare change for shopping!
